Nestled on the picturesque Sketrick Island in Killinchy, Little Eddy’s is not just a café; it's a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This charming spot is designed for those who appreciate the little things—like a warm cup of coffee shared with breathtaking views over the sea.

From the moment you step through the door, you are welcomed with heartwarming smiles and the intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The menu features an enticing selection of Pure Roast Coffees. Whether you’re in the mood for a frothy Cappuccino or a rich Espresso, every sip is a moment to savor. For those who enjoy an after-dinner treat, don’t miss the Affogato, where creamy ice cream meets a shot of hot espresso in a euphoric blend of flavors.

The ambiance at Little Eddy’s beckons with a cozy and inviting setting, perfect for a rainy morning or a sunny afternoon. Imagine sitting by a window with a steaming Latte in hand, watching raindrops race down the glass. Indeed, as customer Susanna beautifully notes, it’s a lovely and cozy spot to enjoy a warming brew, especially when the weather outside is drizzly.

Beyond coffee, the café offers an array of wines including a delightfully fruity Vistamar Merlot and the smooth Landings Estate Shiraz Cabernet, ideal for those leisurely afternoons spent chatting with friends. Pairing these with a selection of freshly made scones and traybakes ensures your visit is both satisfying and memorable. Philip speaks highly of the breakfast bap served here, complemented by the unmistakable taste of Ballymaloe relish. It’s these thoughtful touches that make dining at Little Eddy’s a pleasure.

For anyone seeking hidden gems, this café stands out. Its location off the beaten track is part of its charm, as Jayne aptly describes it: a hidden treasure that reveals its grandeur on a good day. With dog-friendly water bowls and accessible outdoor seating, it welcomes furry companions, making it a perfect pit stop after a refreshing walk along the nearby shores.

Mark Woonton captured the spirit of the café perfectly by highlighting how it combines seamlessly with a day spent at Ballyholme Beach, proving that Little Eddy’s is more than just a place to eat—it’s a destination. When you’re here, every visit feels like a mini-vacation.

So the next time you find yourself wandering through the scenic lanes of Newtownards, make sure to stop by Little Eddy’s. It’s a café where fine coffee meets stunning vistas, and every meal feels like a celebration of local flavors in a truly remarkable setting.

Food was good, service was also good, but the area is amazing, it's quite a drive down some country lanes, but it's more than worth it. We combined it with a day at ballyhome beach, as it was a gorgeous day, had one of the best days of the summer, perfect combination on such a day

First time visit on a Saturday morning in October. Warm welcome as soon as we stepped through the door, good selection of scones and traybakes and choice of brunch items however they tend towards lunch rather than breakfast. Porridge for instance would have been a good addition. Enjoyed the breakfast bap (with mandatory Ballymaloe relish) and Suki Tea. Service was very good although the café was quiet so we had almost full attention. Dog friendliness only goes as far as the front porch however. Back again Feb 24. Sausage roll very good, piping hot and not greasy, served as always with Ballymaloe relish. Service excellent and great views of the seals in Strangford Lough.

Lovely little cafe with the most beautiful views out over the sea. A hidden gem that’s off the beaten track but definitely worth venturing out there. Catch the weather on a good day and you won’t want to leave. Lovely food at reasonable prices and water bowls everywhere for your dogs if you bring them.
